Privacy policy

Summary

The site has no accounts, sign-ups, forms or ads. We only use Google Analytics, and only if you accept, to see how many people visit the site and which pages they view.

Google Analytics

If you click "Accept" on the cookie notice, the site loads Google Analytics 4, a Google service. It records, for statistics:

• the pages you visit, how long you stay and which site you came from;
• your device type, operating system, browser and language;
• your approximate country and city, derived from your IP address (Google Analytics 4 does not store the IP address).

We only use this data in aggregate reports to improve the site. It doesn't identify you by name, we don't use it for advertising and we never sell it. Google processes this data on our behalf and may do so in the United States, under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and standard contractual clauses. The data is kept in Google Analytics for up to 14 months and then deleted automatically.

The legal basis is your consent. If you decline or don't answer, Google Analytics is not loaded.

Cookies

If you accept Google Analytics, it stores these cookies in your browser:

• _ga: tells visitors apart anonymously. Lasts 2 years.
• _ga_ETSJ08ENZ4: keeps the state of your visit. Lasts 2 years.

Your cookie choice is saved in your own browser (in local storage, under the name "bl-consent") so we don't ask on every visit. It is never sent to us.

You can change your mind at any time with the "Cookies" link in the footer of any page. If you decline after accepting, we turn Google Analytics off and delete its cookies.

Hosting

Like any website, the server hosting ours may log technical data for each request, such as the IP address, the date and the page requested, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. These logs are temporary and aren't used for statistics.

Contacting us by email

If you write to us, we only use your address and message to reply. We don't share them with anyone and we delete them when you ask.

Your rights

Under the GDPR (Europe) and the LGPD (Brazil), you have the right to access, correct and delete your data, to object to its processing, to request portability and to withdraw your consent at any time. Because Google Analytics data doesn't identify you, we usually can't look it up; the simplest option is to decline via the "Cookies" link or clear your browser's cookies.

For any request, contact us at the email below. You can also complain to your country's data protection authority, such as the CNPD in Portugal or the ANPD in Brazil.

Changes

If we change what the site collects, we'll update this page and the date at the top. If the change needs your consent, we'll ask for it again.
